- for the second time in my life, i happened to bite completely through my lip due to an unfortunate knee to the face (pictures below). Never a good feeling when your friends tell you they can see through a hole in your lower lip, haha. luckily, 2 stitches and some dermabond (medical super glue pretty much) and i was back on my feet. now i'm just curious to see just how much the urgent care center will charge me for it, haha
- the day seems so much longer when you start the day at 7 am, which is what i had to do this whole week. i still think i'm more cut out for waking up at noon everyday. gosh i'm gonna miss being able to do that during the first 2 years of med school, haha. damn year 3 and rotations
- went on a book binge tonight, reserved 12 books from the library. can't wait, all fiction thrillers. no non-fiction for me.
- if you like 24, then i suggest reading some books by vince flynn, he was actually asked to be part of the writing team for 24. jack bauer types are even more badass in books, especially in his book "memorial day"
- the agent pendergast books by lincoln child and douglas preston... easily my favorite character ever. i'd suggest "the cabinet of curiosities"
- its 10:30pm and i'm going to bed. feels so weird, and healthy
